Doing laundry is a very essential yet very unconvincing work for anyone. People nowadays generally don’t do laundry by themselves; instead, they have workers/servants at their home to do these things. Also, the washing machine has become a boon to mankind. Nobody can teach how to wash clothes to the women of this country as they know in and out about the clothes. Often kids believe this isn’t a necessary skill they need to learn before they are alone.

It seems natural for many children to have freshly washed pants and blouses in your closet each day, but those beautiful days will probably be over before you know it. Long before the existence of washing machines, this was considered as an art as it was not easy to wash every type of cloth. Different people use to wear different types of clothes according to their taste and environment.

After scrutinizing countless fashion magazines for hours, some have it in line with the latest fashion industry vogue, while others set out to be field visionaries, developing and endorsing their own label. And yet, there’s another category that adorns it attributing to the mood swings that they’re going through, Clothes has evolved from being a mere body cover to one that complements the whole personality of an individual, thus defining whether the person is outgoing or cultural, boisterous or taciturn, modest or clumsy.

Acetate

Acetate is a human-made fiber, often found blended with other fibers to create beautiful, easy-to-drape clothing. It is a thin fiber that can be weakened by twisting, wringing, or heating. Hand wash acetate mixtures or using the washer’s gentle cycle for machine washable garments.

 Cotton is a favorite worldwide for comfortable, flexible clothing. As casual as a T-shirt or as formal as a ball gown, cotton can be used in garments as a natural fiber. If the fabric has been preshrunk or washed, the cotton fibers may shrink, so start with the care mark. “Coldwater only” will mean that if not washed, your ankle-long cotton pants would convert to Capri pants. Over drying, cotton will encourage shrinkage, dry cotton garments at a lower heat, and remove them from the dryer while still fairly cool.

Linen

 Linen is a natural fiber, produced from the plant of flax. Check care labels on linen clothes to see if the fabric needs to be dry-cleaned. If washable by machine, wash according to the directions on the package, use water appropriate to the color of the garment. In the washing process, linen absorbs more water than other fabrics, so beware of overcrowding in the washer and dryer. Weld linen from the inside out, in a hot iron atmosphere, using steam.

 The “wonder fabric” of the last century, polyester, makes colorful, sturdy, easy-care clothing. Most of the polyester fabrics can be washed by machine using warm water, but first, check care labels. Tumble dry garments made of polyester at low pressure. Pull them from the dryer while still slightly damp to prevent wrinkles and sticky accumulation. Using low heat when ironing is required: Polyester will melt under a hot iron.

Silk

Smooth, solid and lustrous, this natural fiber is among the oldest fabrics for clothing in the world. Although silk fiber itself is washable, when washed, many weave patterns used for silk fabric may tighten or pucker, and color-fast may not be deep dye tones. Never tumble silk in the dryer. Instead, roll the item in a towel to press out moisture, and then hang to dry. Press silk garments with a warm iron.

A touch of stretch suits the clothes and makes them feel better. Join spandex, an elastic fiber that is now integrated into many forms of fabric in limited quantities to provide flexibility and comfort. Though spandex is hand- or machine-washable, avoid chlorine bleach and hot water. This can damage the fibers on the spandex. Unless otherwise given by care labels, hang spandex clothing to dry, and avoid drying machine.

The fluffy, warm wool yarn. Of course, isolating and easy to dye, wool fabric runs the gamut from rugged tweeds to floating challis of wool. Within the natural state, the wool may be washed, but because many wool garments contain methods of construction that cannot be washed, dry-clean wool clothing where the label needs. If washable, using a gentle detergent and hand wash or machine-wash as prescribed by the label for clothing treatment. A tip from the knitter of a venerable Shetland Islands: Wash and rinse wool fibers in the torrential spray. When it comes to wool, using cold water to rinse will cause shrinkage.

As correctly said by people that laundry is still an art that can’t be done by everybody. It might seem easy, but when it comes to performing, it is a job that requires some skills.
