Tricks to battle out the stains with wit and style
“REPENTANT TEARS WASH OUT THE STAINS OF GUILT”
The stain is a word that is quite prominent in our everyday life, especially for mothers. Stains dwindle with time and do not remain evermore unless it is a stain of a rich curry or any other dense liquid or substance. On the other hand, scars have an everlasting effect on the body and though they fade and perish, they do not wane away completely. Even the slightest of their traces are left behind. The main agenda here is how to remove stains and the tricks to follow. I will be talking about the same in the rest of my article. But, before I begin, I would like to ask a question to all that is it really necessary to remove the stain, because I believe that stains help us, though momentarily, to consider our mistakes and reminds us to be careful next time we approach.
I have never washed a cloth or a dish, so technically I have never come across a stain because every day my mother makes sure my shirt is as crisp and white as it was on the day it was bought. Big thanks to all the mothers out there for removing such countless number of stains throughout their lives. Their united efforts are the reason for which we get a new pair of clothing every day to wear to schools, colleges, and offices.
Now coming back to the topic, Stains can be both rigid and hard to eliminate or else they can be just easy as a cakewalk.
Quick and easy tips and tricks to eliminate all kinds of stains from your clothing:
#1
Oil-based stains can be removed easily by using table side ingredients like salt. Simply sprinkle salt on the stained area and let it rest for a few minutes, and after some time, the salt would have absorbed the oil and there would be no stain at all.
#2
Removing grass stains had never been so easy up till now. Simply use toothpaste and an old brush. Apply toothpaste on the stained area and then scrub it with the brush. Wash it normally and see the magic.
#3
No more fussing about collar stains. It can be easily tackled away by the use of shampoo which is a household commodity. Simply apply shampoo to the stained area and rub the collar together. Wash it normally and you will see the result yourself.
#4
Grease spots will become a thing of the past if you try this tricks. Sprinkle the spot with cornstarch. Allow the cornstarch to soak up the grease for a few minutes, and then brush it away. The grease spot will lift right out.
#5
Oily stains on pillowcases can be removed with plain shampoo or even liquid dish detergent. Simply apply to the area, rub it in and allow it to sit for a little while. Rinse it out and then launder as you would normally.
#5
Many might have displayed naivety by sticking their ball pens in their pockets. If you get ballpoint pen ink on a piece of clothing, put a paper towel under the stain. Then, apply some standard rubbing alcohol to the affected area. Blot/sponge at the stain with a clean cloth until you notice that ink is no longer being transferred. Wash with hot water.
#6
If you have fabrics with tea stains, don’t despair. As long as you didn’t burn yourself when you spilled the mug, there’s nothing to worry about. Treat wet tea stains with a generous amount of baking soda. Ideally, the powder will pull the color out of the clothing. Then, launder as normal.
These are thus, a few of the tricks and tips that I could gather from my mother and the internet as well. Out of the above measures, I have tried some myself and to my astonishment, these do work in real-time and are really effectual for everyday use. These tips are no less than household ‘hacks’ that can be adopted quickly and are very useful and reliable for the people to use them on a daily basis and make their clothes and apparel brighter and spotless than ever before.
