    Loose zippers can rip delicate clothing, also it can scratch the door of your front-loading washing machines. Make sure the zips are closed before you let them in machine. The unclipped bras can also pull
    fabrics or damage the drum if they wing around loose. As a solution, invest in an old pillowcase or lingerie bag.
    Buttons should not fix firmly but the zipper should . While washing a buttoned shirt with the
    buttons fastened results in damaged buttons and can also rip the buttonholes.
  2. Steam Out the cigarette (tobacco) Odors:
    Whether you’re a smoker or not, you can possibly agree that one annoying side of tobacco is its odor that
    clings to everything. Generally the smell of smoke will go out of most fabrics when we normally wash
    them, but the fabrics that lock in odors and are sensitive to washing, like wool, are a bit hard.   4. How to Fade Scorch Marks:
    What happens when you stop paying attention for two seconds with the iron in your hand and the grey shirt underneath, and you’re left with a scorch mark. Well you can save the shirt by just wearing a jacket over it. Or maybe you should try our painless trick and do not have to hide anything!

So when your iron got too hot while your mind wandered or your hand lingered, fixing the scorched fabric
is as easy as stepping out. Hang your grey shirt in direct sunlight, here the sunlight’s natural bleaching
action helps to fade away the scorch mark. No jackets or expensive cleaners needed to hide it
afterwards.

  1. Fixing Flannel Fabric:
    Stains on rough fabrics like flannel is like every mom’s nightmare, because whatever you drop is locked in by the texture of the fabric. Don’t just say bye-bye to that shirt just yet, because we’ve got you a whole
    new trick.
    So for stubborn stains on flannel fabric, pouring 1 tablespoon glycerin and 1 egg yolk into a deep, wide-
    mouthed plastic cup, mix them together using a spoon and spread the mixture onto the stain. Wait for
    about 30 minutes for it to release the stain and then launder the garment as usual.
  2. How to Boost Your Detergent?:
    When your normal detergent isn’t making the score, don’t just throw away a half-full bottle and run out to find an expensive brand name detergent.
    All you have to do is to add baking soda to a washing machine’s rinse cycle, which will help your clothes become more carefully rinsed, and they will resist the stain swelling that can at times come with hard
    water. The detergent and baking soda work better and act as a deodorizer for some of the rougher-smelling clothes. You will also find them feel softer, another bonus plus softer fabric, Cleaner clothes,
    and no extra money spent.
  3. When Life Gives You Lemons, you should make Bleach outta it!:
    Pouring straight lemon juice that is squeezed directly from the lemon or poured even from a bottle -works
    very well for bleaching the clothes and it doesn’t contain the harsh and potentially dangerous chemicals
    the name brand bleaches do, as it is natural. You can use it on any fabric (except silk) they can be bleached a brighter and whiter color by drenched in a mixture of lemon juice and especially hot water. First, mix 1/2 cup lemon juice with approx 4 liters of
    very hot water. Soak the clothing in it for at least one hour, although it can be soaked overnight. Later, pour the lemon juice mixture into the washing machine, then wash the garment as usual.
  4. Use shaving cream as a stain remover on the cloth:
    Shaving cream consists of   active ingredients  similar to many home soaps, and the foam-covered nature
    works great at removing stains, especially in a pinch or so. Let some cream settle into the stain, sit for
    few minutes, then wash it up.
